In a day an age of finger snapping and dance instructing crazes fill the airwaves, and a notion of "Hip Hop being Dead", To say that theres a dim light at the end of the tunnel would be a reach but leave it up to common to proudly say that The light still shines. An indeed it does with part 2 of probably "THEE" greatest/smoothest/purest Hip Hop song ever to hit your eardrums!. With the original crafted by the late great J Dilla (R.I.P), Just Blaze did an awesome job recreating this banger!. Love the way he sampled Lupe Fiasco's joint "Hurt Me Soul", To me just hearing this brought back the coolest/dopest memories of growing up; sorta like the opening scenes from Brown Sugar...for real.. I cant wait for this to hit the radio and even if it doesn't mannnnn it's an instant classic, BIG UPS to Common! not only for dating one of the finest women on the planet lol but for letting us know that through all the nonsense, The Light Still Shines..
